OVERALL: Went 12-4 overall in fall singles matches ... posted 5-6 in fall doubles matches with three partners.
FALL HIGHLIGHTS: Put down Ottawa's Austin Todd 6-0, 6-3 in consolation draw semifinals of Wildcat Invitational (Sept. 21-23) ... defeated New Mexico's Michael Tran 6-1, 6-0 in consolation final of Wildcat Invitational ... smashed UNLV's Jordan Sauer in round of 64 6-3, 0-6, 7-6 of the ITA Mountain Regionals ... defeated Tommy Edwards (Portland State) 6-4, 6-3 in round of 16 at the Duck Invitational (Nov. 2-4) ... took down doubles team Mack Galvin/Matt Ghering (Air Force) with partner Maximilien Blancaneaux during the Dar Walters Fall Classic (Oct. 5-7) ... defeated Montana State's Manuel Monteiro/Marcos Zelver 6-2 with Maximilien Blancaneaux in doubles round of 16 of Dar Walters.
SPRING HIGHLIGHTS: Went 6-4 in spring singles matches and 8-11 in spring doubles matches. Singles Play – Picked up first victory of the season in a match against Lewis-Clark State’s (Feb. 1) Sahal Bukhari 6-2, 6-3…clinched the team victory against Idaho State (Feb. 3) by edging out Francis Filipovich in two sets 7-6 (5), 6-2…helped rally the Broncos 4-3 win over Portland State (Feb. 9) by defeating Sam Roberts in straight sets 6-2, 6-3…from the No.4 spot defeated New Mexico’s (April 5) Tim Buttner 6-4, 6-2…downed conference opponent Jordan Azuma from Air Force (April 7) 6-4, 6-2. In doubles play, Stenlund and partner Stefan Lalovic provided the Broncos a clean sweep by defeating Montana State’s (Jan. 25) Mateus Ceolin and Marcos Zelver 6-3…wrapped up another doubles sweep for the Broncos with Lalovic by defeating Lewis-Clark State’s (Feb.1) No. 2 tandem William Bruchard and Marcus Gavelin 6-3…collected the Broncos lone doubles win with Lalovic 7-6 against Idaho State’s (Feb.3) Francis Filipovich and Lukas Ridemar…downed Pacific’s (March 13) Josef Southcombe and John Horoz Garner 6-2 with partner Luka Soskic, also defeated conference opponent Henrique Osorio and Cem Erturk from Frenso State (April 14) 6-3.
JUNIOR TENNIS
As a junior was ranked in top seven in Sweden for age group ... won the regional championship in Stockholm as a junior and won the Stockholm junior tour in 2016 ... finished in 15th place during the 2017 Swedish Indoor Elite Tour.
