Allie Walljasper

Allie Walljasper joined the Broncos on July 12, 2021 as a member of head coach Justin Shults’ inaugural staff. She serves as the Broncos’ pitching coach.

She is a former All-American at LSU and Team USA member. Walljasper (WALL-jass-per) spent 2019 as a student assitant at her alma mater and two seasons (2020-21) as an assistant coach at North Dakota State.

In Walljasper’s first season, Boise State’s pitchers set school records for ERA (2.71), shutouts (12), strikeouts (335) and strikeouts per seven innings (7.15)

Sara Johnson (2.71) and Hannah Bailey (2.73) finished their careers with two-best ERA in school history. Bailey tied the school record with five shutouts and Taylor Caudill set the standard for strikeouts per seven innings at 9.12.

In 2023, Caudill tied for the Mountain West lead with four shutouts and was named All-MW First Team. As a team, the Broncos recorded a 2.35 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

In 2024, Caudill led the conference in wins (19), innings (186 2/3), complete games (32), strikeouts (173) and strikeouts per 7 innings (6.5).

At LSU, Walljasper was 64-24 with seven saves and 1.56 ERA in her career. She recorded 22 shutouts and was part of Tiger teams that made three trips to the NCAA Women's College World Series and made another appearance in an NCAA Super Regional.

Walljasper earned SEC Freshman of the Year in 2015 and was an NFCA Third-Team All-American. The Manteca, Calif., native added a third-team All-America honor in 2017 and was a second-team selection in 2018. She was a four-time NFCA All-South Region pick, two-time All-SEC honoree, four-time All-Louisiana Sportswriters Association (LWSA) selection, and two-time LWSA Pitcher of the Year.

She earned her bachelor's degree in education from LSU in 2018.
