- Mountain West Scholar-Athlete Award (2013) JUNIOR (2015): Started 22 of the 37 games in which she appeared, batting .145 with a home run, two doubles, six RBI and six walks...went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in win over Texas Southern (Feb. 6)...had an RBI double in following day's win over Texas Southern (Feb. 7)...singled, walked and scored twice in win at North Texas (Feb. 8)...doubled and walked in loss to Portland State (Feb. 14)...went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored against Seattle University (Feb. 26)...drove in a run with a sacrifice fly in win over Nevada (April 12).
SOPHOMORE (2014): Academic All-Mountain West...appeared in 41 games, making 38 starts...27 starts came at third base, nine at first base, one at catcher and one in the outfield...batted .159 with three home runs, two doubles, 13 RBI and 23 walks...doubled and drove in a run in win over UTEP (Feb. 15)...homered and drove in three runs with a pair of walks in win over Utah Valley (Feb. 16)...singled with an RBI in win at Saint Mary's (March 1)...drove in a run in consecutive wins over Lafayette (March 14) and Idaho State (March 15)...singled with an RBI and run scored at Colorado State (March 29)...went 2-for-3 with a homer and three RBI at Nevada (April 12)...homered for the second straight day in a 2-for-4 performance against the Wolfpack in the series finale (April 13)...went 2-for-3 with two runs scored in win at Utah State (April 22)...walked thrice and came around to score each time in series finale against the Aggies (April 23).
FRESHMAN (2013): Appeared in 49 games with 48 starts, coming at five different positions...started 19 games at catcher, 13 at third base, seven at second base, seven at designated player and two in left field...started the season opener at second base...led the team with 11 doubles, a Boise State freshman record and third-most in a single season...also ranked in the top five on the team in batting average (.296, fourth), slugging percentage (.458, fourth), on-base percentage (.405, third), runs (27, third), hits (42, fourth), RBI (31, second), home runs (four, fifth), walks (24, second), steals (two, fourth) and total bases (65, fourth)...24 walks rank fifth in single-season history and helped her reach base safely in 40 of 49 games played...tied school record with six RBI at UNLV (May 4), including two-out, game-winning grand slam in the sixth...earned NFCA Honorable Mention National Player of the Week accolades after weekend at UNLV; went 4-for-9 with two doubles, one home run, six RBI, four runs scored and three walks...team-best 11-game hitting streak (March 9-24)...drove in 10 runs in the final five games...saw time behind the plate in 21 games, had not played position since age 14...threw out seven would-be base stealers from catcher position (opponents 15-for-22)...while catcher her offensive numbers spiked, batted .429 with a .525 on-base percentage and slugged .653...hit .500 with bases loaded, including eighth grand slam in school history...first-career home run came in a 3-for-3 performance at San Diego (March 2), adding a double, three RBI and two runs scored in a 5-3 win...eight multi-hit games, including two three-hit performances...eight multi-RBI games...started in eight different places in the batting order (all but No. 3)...Academic All-MW...MW Scholar-Athlete.
HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Woodinville, a three-year high school, under head coach Mark Leander...three-year starter at shortstop...led Falcons to WIAA 4A state title as a senior with a perfect 26-0 record...team finished ranked No. 7 in MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Softball Rankings...finished high school career 61-4 with three league championships and one state title...team finished third at state as a junior...named first-team All-KingCo 4A all three seasons...twice earned Woodinville Golden Glove Award...two-year team captain...high school teammate of current Bronco Katie Engelbrecht...played five years for Absolute Blast on summer travel ball circuit...Absolute Blast is coached by Eric Bolstad and Weir's father, Jim, and has produced fellow Broncos Engelbrecht, Lindsey Nicholson and Madison Foster...bats and throws right-handed...plans to study social science...father spent three seasons in the San Francisco Giants minor league system.
