(2017-18) INDOOR: Cleared 10-6 (3.20m) in the pole vault at the Jacksons Nike Boise Indoor Invite, (Feb. 2-3) . . . Finished third at the Bronco Invitational (Jan. 20), setting a new personal best of 10-11.75 (3.35m) . . . Opened the season with a third place finish at the Jacksons Open (Dec. 9) . . . Set a new personal best with a vault of 10’-10” to finish second at the Ed Jacoby Invitational (Jan. 12-13) . . . OUTDOOR: Did not compete.
2016-17: INDOOR – Continued her focus in the pole vault in her first season wearing the Blue and Orange…was seventh in the opening meet, clearing 9-4.25 (2.85m) at the Ed Jacoby Invitational…enjoyed a solid improvement at the Bronco Invitational a week later, clearing 10-0 (3.05m) for 11th place…duplicated her height of 10-0 (3.05m) at the Jacksons/NB Indoor Invitational, and also tried her hand at the high jump (4-9.5 / 1.46m)…13th at the Boise State Challenge with a 10-0 (3.05m)…OUTDOOR- Competed in two meets in the outdoor season..cleared a new PR (10-6 / 3.20m) at the NNU Invitational to win the meet…was fourth at the Border Clash, vaulting 10-6 (3.20m) in the process.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Alyssa Adams will focus on the pole vault at Boise State after a prep career at Meridian High School that saw her compete in the pole vault, high jump, long jump and triple jump. She logged back-to-back 12th-place finishes at the Idaho 5A State Championships in the pole vault in 2015 and 2016. Adams secured her career-high vault midway through her senior season at the Pulse Invitational (April 8), clearing 10-6.
