After winning the hammer throw at the Mountain West Outdoor Track and Field Championships in 2014, Hayli Bozarth graduated from Boise State and joined the Broncos as a volunteer assistant coach. In addition to winning at conference, she competed at the 2014 NCAA Track and Field Outdoor Championships and earned an honorable mention All-America nod in the hammer throw. Prior to transferring to Boise State for her senior season, Bozarth attended Iowa State from 2009-2013. Bozarth took third at the 2013 Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the hammer throw, tossing a 207-8 on her way to All-Big 12 honors. She also earned All-Big 12 honors the previous season at the 2012 indoor championships in the shot put (51-1.75), and then also at the outdoor championships in the hammer throw (188-7). The Norton, Kan., native was also named to the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team in 2013.
