Jarred Nelson
Jarred Nelson joined the Boise State Olympic Sports Performance staff in June 2019. His duties include directing and programming performance training for Bronco athletic programs.

Prior to coming to Boise, Nelson served for a year as Athletic Performance Coach at Minnesota, where he assisted with the performance programs of the Golden Gopher women's volleyball and softball teams, and oversaw the performance program for the cheer, dance, and mascot teams.

Nelson spent two years (2016-18) as a Graduate Assistant Sports Performance Coach at Belhaven University in Mississippi, working with all 15 varsity sports. He primarily worked with Belhaven's softball, men's soccer, men's and women's track and field, and men's and women's cross country programs.

He began his collegiate sports performance career by interning at Monmouth and Villanova.

Nelson is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), as well as a Reflexive Performance Reset Level I Coach. He received his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Montclair State in 2016, and his Master's of Sports Administration from Belhaven in 2018.
