FRESHMAN (2023)

  • Top Highlights: Saw limited time in five matches and eight sets at middle blocker...first action as a Bronco came at Northern Arizona (Sept. 9) tallying one block...recorded two kills, one block assists and 2.5 points versus New Mexico (Nov. 2)...season-high four kills while hitting .429 at Utah State (Nov. 6) to go with one block solo, one block assist and season-high 5.5 points.

PRIOR TO COLLEGE

  • High School: Graduated from Atascocita High School in Humble, Texas...a three-year starter for the Eagles' varsity team coached by Madeline Odom...two-time all-district honoree...as a senior, named to the AVCA All-American Watch List, GHVCA 2022 Pre-Season Team, the LoneStarPrep.com High School Top Blocker and team captain...junior year was named to the 2021 AVCA Phenom Watch List and the LoneStarPrep.com High School Top Blocker...helped AHS to a combined three-year record of 63-43 overall and 32-6 in the league, three-consecutive Texas 6A Bi-District championships, and three-straight Area tournament finals...senior season recorded a team-high 235 kills and a team-best 2.3 kills per set average, to go with 96 digs and 46 blocks...as a junior in 2021, Smith tallied 227 kills, 106 blocks (11 solo and 95 assists) and 84 digs.
