COACHING RECORD
119-63
BOISE STATE TENURE (2016-PRESENT)
Allison Voigt enters into her eighth season as the head coach of the Boise State beach volleyball team and 10th year overall with the program. Voigt joined the program on March 7, 2016 as an assistant coach under Shawn Garus.
In July of 2018, Voigt was promoted to head coach after two seasons as an assistant coach. She has recorded a 119-63 overall record, at both Boise State and in her head coaching career. She has recorded four consecutive 20-win seasons with the Blue and Orange.
The winningest coach in program history, Voigt is coming off an unprecedented season at the helm of the program, guiding the Broncos to their first NCAA National Tournament appearance in program history. Along the way, Boise State claimed both the Southland Conference’s regular season and tournament championship titles. Boise State finished with a 23-12 record and extended the team’s home winning streak to 20 consecutive games. Under Voigt’s tenure, four pairs earned all-conference recognition, with three duos receiving first-team honors and another landing on the second team, and she herself was recognized as the SLC Coach of the Year.
Her latest success comes after guiding the Broncos to a 31-12 record in 2024, breaking the program record for most wins in a season. Voigt led the Broncos to their second-straight SLC appearance. Boise State also made SLC history after the Broncos’ entire starting lineup earned all-conference accolades, the first time done so in league history. Voigt extended the program’s home winning streak to 15 after winning all six home duals, and led the team to victories over two ranked opponents. Boise State was receiving votes in the AVCA Collegiate Beach Volleyball Poll for the entire season.
In her fifth season as head coach, Voigt guided the Broncos to a 25-10 record. In its first year in the SLC, she led the Broncos to the SLC Championship after finishing third in the regular season. Three of the five SLC First Team accolades went to Bronco players, the most of any team in the conference. Voigt also continued the team’s success on its home courts, going undefeated at the Boise State Beach Classic and extending the program’s home win streak to nine.
Under Voigt’s guidance, the team reached 20 wins for the first time in program history in her fourth year. The team finished 20-9, including wins over Arizona State, Oregon, Washington, Santa Clara and Utah. The squad also finished with a perfect 4-0 record on their home court.
The team finished 6-11 in her third season at the helm. The team played nine matches against Top 25 teams, and defeated No. 20 Arizona State at the Cactus Classic in Tuscon, Ariz.
Voigt’s second season in 2020 ended almost as quickly as it began because of the coronavirus pandemic. The team was able to compete on one weekend that spring going 1-3 at the Cactus Classic at Arizona where two of their three losses were to top-20 teams, No. 15 Arizona and 20th-ranked Arizona State.
In Voigt’s first season at the helm of the Bronco program, which competes as an NCAA independent, she led the team to its first winning season in history since the program was established in 2014. The 2019 Broncos finished the year with a 13-6 record, which included victories over Oregon, Nebraska, Utah, Pacific, Sacramento State, UC Davis, Portland, Colorado Mesa and Benedictine (Ariz.).
The 13 team victories were a school record, as were the 14 match victories by the pair of Kendra Bodine and Janell Walley (14-5), followed closely by Morgan Hughes and Sabryn Roberts with 13 wins (13-6).
