BOISE STATE CAREER
RS FRESHMAN (2015-16): Went 8-4 during his debut season with the Broncos, seeing action at both 141 and 149 pounds…included was a major decision and three pins…captured the 149-pound title at the California Collegiate Open (Feb. 7), going 4-0 with a pin and a major decision…also placed at 149 at the Battle of the Rockies (Dec. 5), going 4-2 en route to fifth place…included were a pair of pins…went 0-2 at 141 at the Cyclone Open (Nov. 15).
FRESHMAN (2014-15): Redshirt season...went 6-0 while competing unattached at 149, including a major decision...captured the individual title at the Spokane Open (Nov. 23), going 3-0...also went 3-0 at the Reno Tournament of Champions (Dec. 21) before pulling out of the event for medical reasons, ultimately finishing sixth.
HIGH SCHOOL CAREER
Three-time state champion at Parkrose High School for head coach Bobo Umemoto...finished runner-up at the 2014 National High School Finals/Senior Nationals at 138 pounds after winning his third-straight state title in Oregon...four-year letterwinner was a perfect 37-0 during his final prep campaign, and concluded his career with an overall record of 142-3, losing only once each as a freshman, sophomore and junior...was also a three-year letterwinner in football at Parkrose.
