LARAMIE, Wyo. - Boise State swimming and diving overcame adversity from Friday morning to hold off the Wyoming Cowgirls to record the 162-138 road victory on Saturday. The victory improves the Broncos to 7-3 overall on the season.

Cody Evans and Abbey Sorensen led the Broncos with two individual victories apiece, while Sorensen was also a member of both relay wins with Evans being apart of the 200 free relay victory.

Sorensen also brought home victories in the 50 free (23.68) and 200 backstroke (2:02.55). In the 50 free Jennings placed third clocking a 24.38.

Evans record victory in the 200 free (1:52.12), while Lauren Vitort took second (1:52.50). Evans also won the 100 free (52.07) with Jennings coming second (52.59).

Madysen Ronquillio nabbed the title in the 100 back clocking a 56.74, while Kaitlyn McCoy turned in a 56.99 for third place. Ronquillio also placed second in the 200 back  with a 2:04.57.

Pinger was apart of three wins tallying victories in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.60) and was a member of both relay wins. She also took second in the 100 butterfly (56.03).

Williams won the 200 breaststroke with a 2:22.44 and placed second in the 100 breast (1:05.29).

Brittany Wen brought home the win in the 200 butterfly clocking a 2:04.96. The sophomore also placed second in the 500 free with a time of 5:09.00.

In addition to McCoy's third-place finish in the 100 back, the freshman won the 200 individual medley with a 2:06.18.

Junior Jamie Nats took second in the 1,000 free turning in a 10:54.97.

In diving, Marti Erlam led the way for the Broncos scoring a 267.53 to place second on the 1-meter springboard, then rallied to win the 3-meter with a 262.35. Senior Cassidy Bose placed second on the 3-meter with a 242.63.
