UP NEXT: Boise State will head on its California swing to play a pair of Mountain West road matches this weekend. The Broncos will visit the defending MW tournament champion San Jose State, Thursday at 8 p.m. MT. Sunday, they will head to Fresno for an afternoon match with Fresno State at 1 MT.

ABOUT SAN JOSE STATE: The Spartans are in their sixth year under head coach Lauren Hanson. Last year the Spartans finished the regular season in fourth, before winning the Mountain West Tournament.

ABOUT FRESNO STATE: Currently in their 11th year under head coach Brian Zwaschka, last season the Bulldogs finished runner up in the MW conference tournament.

SIX STRAIGHT: With wins against Nevada and UNLV over the weekend, the Broncos have now won six straight, and are the only remaining undefeated team in conference play.

SWEEP THE WEEK: The Broncos swept the Mountain West Conference Player of the Week honors for the first week of conference play. Sophomore Sydney Smith earned her first-career Defensive Player of the Week award, while senior Raimee Sherle grabbed offensive honors for the eighth time in her career.

SHUT IT DOWN: Sophomore Sydney Smith has now recorded seven clean sheets through 11 games, while only allowing five goals against the remaining opponents.  She recorded a career-high nine saves in the double-overtime loss to Utah, Sept. 8.

PROTECTING THE LEAD: Friday, Sept. 27, at Nevada the Broncos improved to 40-0-3 in the Jim Thomas era after taking a lead into halftime. 

RECORD WATCH: Senior Raimee Sherle, who sits as the school and conference record holder for points and goals, has moved into a tie for second on the Boise State all-time assists list with 14. She is eight shy of the record set by Shannon Saxton at 22.

Senior McKenna Kynett made big moves in the Boise State record book. Her two goals against Southern Utah, Sept. 22, moved Kynett into a tie for seventh in goals with 16. She also moved into the top 10 for points, grabbing the eighth spot with 39 points.

Fellow senior Kristina Serres broke into the Boise State top 10 for assists, against Southern Utah as half of a double assist to McKenna Kynett. Serres now stands tied for eighth at 10 assists.
