SERIES HISTORY:Â Boise State is 9-0 all-time against Lewis-Clark State, with the last meeting a 76-68 Bronco win in Boise on Nov. 11, 2013.
Prior to that meeting, the Broncos and Warriors had not met since Dec. 10, 1988.
EXHIBITION RECAP:Â Boise State's lone exhibition ahead of the 2019-20 regular season went into the books Nov. 2, as the Broncos defeated Concordia (Ore.), 79-39, at ExtraMile Arena.
Braydey Hodgins, the Preseason Mountain West Player of the Year, finished with a game-high 15 points, going 6-for-11 from the field. Fellow Preseason All-Mountain West Team selection Riley Lupfer went 4-for-5 from the field, including 2-for-3 from deep, for 10 points.
The Broncos broke it open with a 25-2 third quarter, not allowing Concordia a field goal and forcing 10 turnovers. Mallory McGwire and A'Shanti Coleman each scored six points in a half-opening 19-0 run which ballooned a 17-point halftime lead into a 36-point advantage.
SPLASH SISTERS ENCORE:Â The 2019-20 will be the final one for seeing the "Splash Sisters," Braydey Hodgins and Riley Lupfer, in action together at ExtraMile Arena.
Last season, the pair combined to hit 137 3-pointers, the most of any Mountain West teammates.
In their careers, Lupfer and Hodgins have combined for 359 triples, with Lupfer second all-time in Boise State history with 245.
BOISE STATE TOPS PRESEASON MOUNTAIN WEST POLL:Â Boise State topped the Preseason Mountain West Predicted Order of Finish for the third-straight time Oct. 31, garnering 25 of the 29 first-place votes and 305 points total.
New Mexico grabbed three first-place votes and 280 points to finish second to the Broncos in the preseason poll, with Fresno State (228 points), Wyoming (201), and San Diego State (192) rounding out the top five. Colorado State (185) was tabbed sixth, followed by UNLV (130), Utah State (116), Nevada (115), Air Force (95), and San Jose State (77), which received the remaining first-place vote.
BRONCOS DOMINATE MOUNTAIN WEST PRESEASON HONORS:Â Boise State dominated the preseason Mountain West honors, as senior guard Braydey Hodgins was voted the Preseason Mountain West Player of the Year, redshirt junior center Mallory McGwire was named Preseason Newcomer of the Year, and senior guard Riley Lupfer joined Hodgins on the Preseason All-Mountain West Team.
LUPFER APPROACHES CAREER 3s MARK:Â Senior guard Riley Lupfer could very quickly this season become Boise State's all-time leader in 3-pointers made.
Lupfer enters her senior season with 245 made 3s, just 15 behind all-time leader Abby Vaughan (260, 1999-2003).
