BOISE, Idaho -Â Boise State begins a one-week homestand Wednesday, hosting Fresno State at 7 p.m. in a battle of top-3 teams on the Mountain West table.
LAST TIME OUT
Boise State completed the road sweep Saturday with an 83-69 victory at San Jose State. The win also completed the regular-season sweep of the Spartans by the Broncos.
Braydey Hodgins capped her standout week with her second-straight 20-point game, putting up 21 and hitting five 3-pointers against the Spartans. A'Shanti Coleman, in her return to the Bay Area, went 10-for-16 for 20 points, her third 20-point game of the campaign.
WHO'S NEXT
Boise State has two-straight at home this week, beginning with Wednesday's tilt against Fresno State (15-7, 8-3 MW).
The Bulldogs bounced back from loss to Wyoming and New Mexico two weeks ago with consecutive wins at Utah State and at home against UNLV last week. Fresno State features the Mountain West's leading scorer in guard Candice White (18.8 ppg) while Maddi Utti averages 11.7 points and a team-high 7.3 rebounds per game.
LAST MEETING
Boise State rode a 35-11 run over the second and third quarters at Save Mart Center on Jan. 19 to beat the Bulldogs, 72-60, in the first meeting between the teams this season.
The Broncos held a 24-20 lead with 8:47 on the clock in the second quarter before heating up and extending the lead to as many as 28 with a minute to go in the third. Marta Hermida scored all 21 of her points in the second half, and Joyce Harrell posted a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double in the win, while the Bronco defense held the Fresno State bench scoreless.
HODGINS GETS SECOND MOUNTAIN WEST PLAYER OF THE WEEK OF 2018-19
Junior guard Braydey Hodgins capped a career week Monday by being named Mountain West Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Over the wins at UNLV and San Jose State, Hodgins averaged 24.5 points while shooting 58.6 percent from the field and 52.6 percent from 3-point range (10-for-19). She scored a career-high 28 points at UNLV, helped by an 18-point first half in which she went 7-for-7 from the field, including four triples. Saturday in San Jose, she hit five 3-pointers again and finished with 21 points and five assists.
The performance continued what has been a breakout season for Hodgins, as the Pasco, Wash., native is averaging a career-best 11.4 points per game, along with posting career-best shooting percentages of 44.3 percent from the field and 44.8 from 3-point range.

PROTECT TACO BELL ARENA
Boise State went 7-2 in conference play at Taco Bell Arena last season, and are off to a 5-0 start this season.
The Broncos are 46-19 all-time in Mountain West games at Taco Bell Arena, and have gone 7-2 in each of the past five seasons.
TWO IN THE NCAA TOP 20
The Broncos have a pair of players that rank in the NCAA Top 20 in their respective statistical categories. Through the games of Feb. 10, junior guard Braydey Hodgins ranked 12th in the country in 3-point field-goal percentage (44.8), while redshirt junior point guard Jayde Christopher was 18th with 5.68 assists per game.
PASSING OUT DIMES
Redshirt junior point guard Jayde Christopher has helped the Bronco offense blossom in her debut season in Blue and Orange, as seen Saturday in San Jose State when she passed out 13 assists, just one shy of Marta Hermida's program single-game record.
Through just 22 games of her Bronco career, Christopher has dished out 125 dimes, a figure which is already tied for seventh in Boise State single-season history, and 67 away from Yaiza Rodriguez' 2016-17 mark of 192.
REACHING 20 WINS
A win Wednesday against Fresno State would give Boise State its 20th win of the season and come in the campaign's 23rd game.
That would tie the 1993-94 team as the second-fastest to 20 wins. The Bronco squad that notched its 20th win in the fewest amount of games was the 1974-75 team, which opened 20-1.
NATION'S DEEPEST TEAM?
Boise State's depth has fed the narrative that any one Bronco can step up and help lead the team to victory on any given night.
Through Feb. 11, the Broncos have had 10 different players lead the team or share the team lead in scoring in a game this season. That figure is tied for the national lead with No. 11/14 South Carolina.
COLEMAN CONTINUES CAREER YEAR
Redshirt junior forward A'Shanti Coleman is another Bronco enjoying a career season in 2018-19. The San Francisco native made a triumphant return to the Bay Area Saturday, scoring 20 points and hitting a career-best 10 field goals in the 83-69 win at San Jose State.
Coleman, who averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds over last week's wins, leads the Mountain West with a 60.6 field-goal percentage in conference-only games. For the year, her 55.8 shooting percentage is second, and she's averaging a career-best 10.2 points per game along with 4.0 rebounds per game.
