Schoffield and Fuller Run Nationally-Ranked Times

Schoffield (2:04.34) and Fuller (2:05.93) fastest collegians of the field
SEATTLE, Wash. — Both Alexis Fuller and Kristie Schoffield will enter the final three weeks of the indoor track and field season with plenty of momentum behind them.
Competing at the Last Chance College Elite Meet at the Dempsey Indoor Center, both Fuller and Schoffield posted the fastest times in the 800m by collegians at the meet. Schoffield took fifth overall, with Fuller directly behind her in sixth.Â
Schoffield ran a blistering time of 2:04.34. That mark is a an eight-second personal best for the indoor 800m, and moves her to second on the school record book in the event. Friday was Schoffield's season debut in the event after primarily racing the mile this season, and the time would rank her sixth in Division I this season, entering the weekend.
Fuller took fifth in a personal bets of 2:05.93  — a mark that puts her at third in program history. Nationally, the time ranks her 16th in the Division I, putting her in contention to receive a bid to the national championships in the event.
The two were the only Broncos to compete on the day. Boise State will return to action next weekend at the Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships, Feb. 21-23. The conference championship will be hosted by New Mexico, in Albuquerque, N.M.Â
