UPDATE: Due to the forecast of winter conditions in Boise late Saturday night, Saturday's tip time has been moved up one hour to 1 p.m. PT (2 p.m. MT) in order to accommodate for Boise State to catch an earlier flight home.

BOISE, Idaho - The Golden State Warriors are out of town this weekend, so the next-most exciting team to watch will visit the Bay Area as the Boise State women close out its second week of two road games this conference season when it faces San José State at the Event Center Saturday at 2 p.m. MT.

LAST TIME OUT
Boise State got career games from Braydey Hodgins (28 points, 10-for-14 shooting, 5-for-8 3-pt) and Rachel Bowers (19 points, 7-for-8 shooting, 5-for-6 FT) Wednesday to pick up a 64-57 win over UNLV. The win was the first win over the Lady Rebels for the Broncos in Las Vegas since Jan. 14, 2015.

Hodgins went 7-for-7 from the field with four triples in the first half as the Broncos took a 30-21 lead at the break. She and Bowers continued the roll in the second half, as the Broncos beat back numerous UNLV rally attempts to hold on for the win and take over sole possession of first place in the Mountain West.

WHO'S NEXT
Boise State heads to the Bay Area to finish the week, visiting San Jose State (2-18, 1-8 MW) Saturday for a 3 p.m. MT tip.

The Spartans snapped a 14-game losing streak on Jan. 30 with a 68-59 win over Utah State, and were denied a second-straight win Feb. 2 at San Diego State on a layup with three seconds to play.

Raziya Potter (9.5 ppg, 3.6 rpg) and Fieme'a Hafoka (9.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg) lead the Spartans on the court.

LAST MEETING
Boise State blitzed San Jose for 28 first-quarter points and ran away with a 99-68 victory at Taco Bell Arena on Jan. 12.

Rachel Bowers led all Broncos with 14 points on 6-of-8 shooting, while Marta Hermida (13 points), A'Shanti Coleman (12), and Riley Lupfer (10) also scored in double digits.

The contest was also notable for being Marijke Vanderschaaf's first game back from a knee injury suffered in December 2017. Vanderschaaf, in five minutes of action, went 3-for-3 from the field for six points against the Spartans.

HODGINS WITH THE HOT HAND
When in Las Vegas, someone's gotta get the hot hand. Wednesday night was no different, as junior guard Braydey Hodgins went 7-for-7 in the first half on her way to a career-high 28 points on 10-for-14 shooting, including a 5-for-8 performance from 3-point range.

The performance continued what has been a breakout season for Hodgins, as the Pasco, Wash., native is averaging a career-best 11.0 points per game, along with posting career-bst shooting percentages of 44.0 percent from the field and 44.7 from 3-point range.

BIG LAST FIVE FOR HODGINS
Braydey Hodgins' effort Wednesday night in Vegas continued a strong stretch of play from the junior. Over the last five games, Hodgins is averaging 14.2 points while shooting 60.5 percent (26-for-43) from the field and 56.5 percent (13-for-23) from 3-point range.

POWERED BY BOWERS
Freshman center Rachel Bowers has been making her name and presence known since the start of Mountain West play, and the past three games have been no exception.

Over win against Colorado State, Nevada, and at UNLV, Bowers has shot a combined 16-for-19 (84.2 percent) as well as 10-for-11 from the line. She's also averaged 11.0 points over 17.7 minutes per game.

The performances boosted her credentials as one of the top freshmen in the loop, as through 10 conference games, all off the bench, Bowers is shooting 66.7 percent (30-for-45) from the field, a perfect 16-for-17 from the line, and averaging 7.7 points and 3.1 rebounds over just 12.2 minutes per game.

BEST START IN 25 YEARS
Boise State continued its best start in a quarter-century with Wednesday's win at UNLV, improving to 18-3 and matching the same start from 1993-94.

Overall, it is just the program's third 18-3 start (also 1976-77). Boise State's best-ever 21-game start was a 20-1 mark in 1974-75.

THREE-WOMAN SHOW
Wednesday's win at UNLV was unique for the Broncos in that three players carried a large bulk of the scoring load as Braydey Hodgins, Rachel Bowers, and A'Shanti Coleman combined for 57 of Boise State's 64 points, and shot a combined 20-for-28 (71.4 percent) from the field.

Outside of that trio, the rest of the Broncos went a combined 2-for-32 (6.3 percent) from the field, with Sofía Galerón and Jayde Christopher adding the remaining two field goals.

UNWELCOME HOUSE GUESTS
The Broncos are getting a reputation as impolite house guests in the Mountain West, as they've now won 11 of their last 14 conference road games after Wednesday night's win at UNLV. The victory over the Lady Rebels was also UNLV's first home defeat of the conference campaign.

After going 7-2 on the road in conference play last year, the best such mark in program history since joining the Mountain West in 2011-12, the Broncos have started this season 4-1 ahead of Saturday's contest at San Jose State.
