Â
Air Force has been one of the best teams in the MW this season, sporting a 16-1 record. This will be the first MW matchup of the season for both teams, so a win on Sunday in would be a huge advantage for either team trying to solidify their place in the conference standings.Â

WHAT'S THE SCOOP
The Broncos have struggled on the road thus far this season. The team is 0-3 in matches away from Boise, and Sunday's contest in Colorado will not be any easier. Five of the Broncos' eight remaining matches will be on the road, so earning a quality win at Air Force will give the team a lot of confidence to carry into their other road contests.LAST TIME OUT
The Broncos defeated Eastern Washington 4-3 in a nail-bitter. Wilhelmina Palmer and Lilian Poling extended their doubles winning streak to six matches, as well as their singles streaks to five and four matches respectively.ÂPLAYER TO WATCH
Freshman Emily Strande put up two dominant performances last weekend. In her first singles matches back from injury, Strande blanked College of Idaho's Marissa Shirley, then cruised past Eastern Washington's Yasmin Mansouri 6-0, 6-3 the next day. The Broncos will need another strong performance from the freshman against Air Force.ÂHEAD COACH BECK ROGHAAR
With a career record of 105-84 and six winning seasons, Roghaar has made his mark on Boise State as he enters his ninth season with the program. He became the second coach in program history to reach 100 wins on January 19, 2019 after a 6-1 win against Idaho State. Last season he coached the team to a 14-8 record and the Mountain West Mountain Division regular season title after going 5-0 against divisional opponents. The 2011 WAC Coach of the Year continues to build a rising Boise State program that has been built on the values of toughness and passion.ÂBOISE TIES
Three freshmen on the team have ties to Boise. Sydnie Binder attended Borah High School in Boise before moving to Oregon. Camryn Moortgat was born and lived in Boise before moving to Dallas, Texas, before high school. Corey Patton-Lossner is the niece of former Boise State head men's tennis coach Greg Patton.ÂYOUTH BE SERVED
Boise State's roster consists of five freshmen this season, four of which have seen action so far this spring. Emily Strande, Frankie Trella, and Binder all have earned their first singles victories of their careers, while Patton Lossner has earned a victory in doubles play. Camryn Moortgat will be redshirting for the Broncos this season.Â
