BOISE, Idaho – The Boise State softball team will look to bounce back from a 1-2 showing on the weekend with a pair of non-conference games, Tuesday, in Los Angeles, Calif. The Broncos will play a neutral site game against Harvard, 11 a.m. MT, before closing the day with the second meeting against host-Loyola Marymount, 1:30 p.m. MT.

SERIES HISTORY: Boise State ended up on the right side of a 10-inning victory over Loyola Marymount earlier this season, prevailing 9-8. The Broncos lead the all-time series against the Lions, 5-2.

This will be the first all-time meeting between Boise State and Harvard. The Broncos own a 3-0 record against Ivy League schools.

SCOUTING REPORT: Harvard (6-8) has six players in their lineup hitting over .300 this season, led by Brianna Jewett (.429). In the circle, the Crimson are led by Katie Duncan (3.66 ERA), Grace Krantz (4.43 ERA) and Alissa Hiener (4.77 ERA).

Loyola Marymount is currently at the top of the standings in the West Coast Conference, sporting a 17-11 record. Hannah Bandimere leads the program in the circle, logging 89.0 innings this season. Despite owning a 9-7 record, Bandimere has posted an ERA of 1.65 this season.

RPI CHECK IN: The first RPI of the 2019 season was released by the NCAA on March 18, with Boise State checking in at No. 19 in the country. This is the highest Boise State has ever appeared in the metric used to determine at-large bids to the NCAA tournament.

The Mountain West was well represented in the first release of the RPI, placing four teams in the top 64 and being ranked as the seventh-best conference nationally.

TITLE DEFENSE BEGINS: The Broncos saw their 17-game win streak snapped on Friday in a series opening loss at UNLV, 8-1. The Broncos came alive on Saturday to even the series with an 11-2 victory, but dropped a one-run rubber match (1-0) on Sunday.
