Boise State women's tennis team won its fourth straight match after defeating Eastern Washington 4-3 Saturday night in Boise
As has been the trend in recent contests, the Broncos showed a lot of grit in their doubles matches. Frankie Trella and Vanessa Timm were dominant in their contest on court two, which they won 6-0, while Wilhelmina Palmer and Lilian Poling continue to play incredibly well as they pieced together a tough 6-4 win to take the team doubles point from the Eagles.

In singles, Poling got things going by dominating her match at the No. 2 slot 6-1, 6-4. At the No. 5 position, Emily Strande was dialed in and cruised to a 6-0, 6-3 win over Eastern Washington's Yasmin Mansouri, and the Boise State lead quickly grew to 3-0.
With the match on the line, the Eagles fought their way back by taking courts three and six to close the gap 3-2.
Palmer, who sat out yesterday's match against College of Idaho, was back in action at the No. 1 position for the Broncos and provided another stellar performance. After blanking her opponent in the first set and dropping the second 4-6, she bounced back to take the third 6-2 and clinch the fourth-straight team victory for the Blue and Orange.
Thanks to a 4-0 homestand, Boise State has improved its overall record to 6-4. Up next, the Broncos head out on the road for their first Mountain West matchup of the season against 44th-ranked Air Force in Colorado on March 17.
