BOISE, Idaho - After two years away, the Mountain West Men's Golf Championship returns to Omni National Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz., April 26-28. The last time the conference championship was host there, Boise State men's golf finished third just two strokes back of three-time defending champion UNLV. Then freshman Brian Humphreys ended up collecting the individual title, winning by two strokes over teammate Danny Hopoi.

The Broncos head to Tucson following a runner-up finish last week at the Ping Cougar Classic hosted by BYU. Boise State was led by its freshmen, both of whom fired off 67s on the first day of competition. Hugo Townsend continued his strong play into the next day and ended the tournament tied for third. That finish highlighted an impressive freshman campaign that included seven top-10 finishes in 10 starts.

Junior Humphreys returns to Tucson for the first time since his impressive performance two years ago. He followed up his freshman performance with a tied for fifth finish when the conference championship visited Olympic Course at the Gold Mountain Golf Club in Bremerton, Wash., last year.

An impressive sophomore campaign comes to a close in Tucson this week for Skyler Eubank. He has a win at the Wyoming Desert Classic to go along with six top-25 finishes. His first-career win resulted in a Mountain West Golfer of the Week Award.

Junior Mason Schulze gets ready to tee off for his third-straight Mountain West Championship appearance. The last time Schulze competed at OMNI National he finished tied for 38th. Schulze has appeared in nine tournaments this year with his best finish coming last week where he finished tied for 14th at the Ping Cougar Classic.

Schedule: All three rounds will tee off at 10 a.m. MT. All rounds will start on the first hole with eight-minute intervals between groups.
