UP NEXT: The Broncos close out their final weekend of nonconference play with a split week. Kicking it off will be a home match against North Dakota at home, Friday at 4 p.m. MT. Then Boise State heads for Cedar City, to take on the Southern Utah Thunderbirds at 1 p.m. MT.

ABOUT NORTH DAKOTA: The Fighting Hawks are led by head coach Chris Logan. In his third season with North Dakota, he has amassed a .579 winning percentage. Friday will be just the second matchup between the Broncos and the Fighting Hawks. The last game was a 3-1 victory for Boise State, Sept. 15, 2013.

ABOUT SOUTHERN UTAH: Southern Utah is in its third season of the Fred Thompson era. The Broncos are making their first trip to Cedar City since 2005. Boise State leads the all-time series 5-0-1.

HIGH SCORING OFFENSE: After scoring four goals against New Mexico State Friday Aug. 30 the Broncos improved to 7-0-0 in the Jim Thomas era when scoring four or more goals.

BIG SKY OPPONENTS: Boise State is currently 5-0 against Big Sky opponents during the 2019 season. The Broncos' Big Sky winning streak currently sits at 11 games, with their last loss coming at the beginning of 2017.

SHUT IT DOWN: Sophomore Sydney Smith has now recorded five clean sheets in her first-seven games, while only allowing three goals against the other two opponents.  She recorded a career-high nine saves in the double-overtime loss to Utah, Sept. 8.


WAY DOWNTOWN: Senior Raven Sweeney blasted her second goal of the season Friday, Sept. 6 against Idaho State. It marked her second career game-winning goal, giving her the third most game-winning goals among active Broncos.

FIRST TIME SCORERS: Two Broncos scored their first-career goals, this past weekend. Junior Morgan Stone recorded the game winner in a 3-0 victory against Weber State, Friday. Junior Jennifer Turnek recorded her first goal later in the same game.
