ABOUT NEVADA: The Wolf Pack are in its third season under head coach Erin Otagaki. Nevada posted its best record with Otagaki at the helm last season, a three-win improvement over the previous season. 

ABOUT UNLV: The Rebels are in their sixth season with head coach Chris Shaw. UNLV is coming off an 11-win season, its fourth consecutive season of at least 11 wins.

HIGH SCORING OFFENSE: After scoring four goals against Southern Utah Sunday, Sept. 22, the Broncos improved to 8-0-0 in the Jim Thomas era when scoring four or more goals.

BIG SKY OPPONENTS: Boise State finished the 2019 nonconference season 6-0 against Big Sky opponents. The Broncos' Big Sky winning streak currently sits at 12 games, with their last loss coming at the beginning of 2017.

MULTI-GOAL SCORERS: With senior McKenna Kynett's two-goal game, Sunday, Sept. 22 against Southern Utah, the Broncos remain undefeated in the Jim Thomas era when there is at least one multi-goal scorer. Boise State is 17-0-1 in such games under Thomas.

RECORD WATCH: Several players made moves in the Boise State record book over the weekend. Senior Raimee Sherle who sits as the school and conference record holder for points and goals has now moved into third on the Boise State all-time assists list with 13. She is one shy of moving into a tie for second and nine shy of the record set by Shannon Saxton at 22.

Senior McKenna Kynett made big moves in the Boise State record book over the weekend. Her two goals against Southern Utah, Sept. 22, moved Kynett into a tie for seventh in goals with 16. She also moved into the top 10 for points grabbing the eighth spot with 39 points.

Fellow senior Kristina Serres broke into the Boise State top 10 for assists over the weekend as half of a double assist to McKenna Kynett in the win over Southern Utah. Serres now stands tied for eighth at 10 assists.  

SHUT IT DOWN: Sophomore Sydney Smith has now recorded six clean sheets in her first-nine games, while only allowing four goals against the other three opponents.  She recorded a career-high nine saves in the double-overtime loss to Utah, Sept. 8.

FIRST TIME SCORERS: For the second-straight weekend, two Broncos scored their first-career goals. Redshirt junior Ashleigh Harrison secured the final goal in a 3-1 victory at home against the North Dakota, Friday, Sept. 20. 

After recording two assists in the win Friday against North Dakota, junior Jazel Bowers broke through scoring her first goal in a 4-0 shutout at Southern Utah, Sept. 22.
