BOISE, Idaho -Â Boise State women's golf hits the halfway point of the fall season this week, teeing off at the 10th Annual Rose City Collegiate Monday-Tuesday. The 54-hole event will be played at Langdon Farms Golf Club, a Par-72, 6,146-yard setup.
Monday's action will begin with a 9:30 a.m. MT shotgun start, with Tuesday's final round teeing off at 8:45 a.m. MT from holes 1 and 10.
The Broncos will send seven golfers to the tournament. Lexi Perry, Nicole Suppelsa, Valentine Lacaze, and Cora Mickelsen will play on the five-woman Bronco team for the third-straight event, this time joined by junior Morgan Lashley, making her debut in the scoring quintet. Redshirt senior Ivane Helias and freshman Elena Pany will compete as individuals for the second tournament this fall.
The field at this week's event also includes host Portland State, Cal State Fullerton, Eastern Washington, George Fox, Idaho State, Montana, Montana State, Nebraska-Omaha, Northern Colorado, Seattle University, and Weber State.
Perry is coming off of winning medalist honors at last week's Ptarmigan Ram Classic, where she shot rounds of 72-72-73 to finish at 1-over, sinking a 12-foot birdie putt on the final hole to clinch the one-stroke victory. It was the first collegiate win of Perry's career, and the second-straight time in which a Bronco had claimed the event's title (Tara Finigan, 2018). Fellow junior Nicole Suppelsa posted her first top-25 finish of the season, as well, coming in tied for 22nd at 11-over.
As a team, the Broncos finished seventh in Fort Collins, coming in at 48-over as a team.
Boise State competed at last year's Rose City Collegiate, leading the field after the first two rounds before slipping into a tie for third in the final round. The Broncos would finish just four strokes off the pace, behind host Portland State. Individually, Suppelsa and Perry golfed well, with Suppelsa finishing tied for sixth at 7-over and Perry going 9-over to tie for 13th.
