A smart and aggressive base runner, takes pride in the little details of the game. Coming from a highly competitive travel program, we are excited to see the level of competition she brings to our club."
Brooklynn Pettis
Pettis will graduate from Elk Grove High School this spring where she will be a four-year starter for the Thundering Herd's varsity team coached by Amanda Buck. She is a two-time All-Delta League honoree. Pettis is on Max Preps Sac-San Joaquin Section Softball Players to Watch List as a catcher. Her biggest strength is her bat. We are looking forward to seeing her show off her gap to gap power at Dona Larsen Park and throughout the Mountain West."
Brook Thompson
Thompson is the fourth Californian and lone pitcher of this class. She is currently attending Rocklin High School where she is a four-year member and three-year starter for coach Mallory Asaro's varsity team. Extra Inning Softball ranks Thompson as the 74th top overall player in the class and the 41st pitcher. In seven games during the 2020 campaign that was shortened because of the pandemic, she recorded an ERA of 1.60 with 43 strikeouts and eight walks. As a sophomore in 2019, Thompson tallied a 2.92 ERA with 39 strikeouts and six walks. She enters her senior year with a career ERA of 2.38 and 105 strikeouts.

We are excited to watch her develop more in our program."
