THE EVENT: The Boise State men's golf team travels to Bandon Ore., for the Bandon Dunes Championship, March 8-10.

THE COURSE: Teams will play the Par 71, 6,577-yard Pacific Dunes Course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.

THE FIELD (Ranking): Boise State (81) is one of three Mountain West schools competing in the 16-team tournament, joining Fresno State (97) and San Jose State (61)…other schools in the field include Cal Baptist (NR), Denver (93), Idaho (218), Kansas (34), Northern Colorado (160), Oregon (76), Oregon State(57), Seattle U (141), Seton Hall (191), UCLA (21), Utah (70), Washington (12) and Washington State (190).

FAMILIAR FOES: The Broncos have competed in a tournament this season with every team it will see at Bandon Dunes, with the exception of Seton Hall…twice, Boise State has finished in front of Cal Baptist, Idaho, Seattle U and Washington State...has also placed ahead of Oregon and San Jose State in a previous event.

THE LINEUP: Sophomore Hugo Townsend, junior Skyler Eubank, senior Brian Humphreys, sophomore Cameron Barzekoff and senior Connor Johnstone.

LAST TIME OUT: Boise State finished ninth in a 21-team field at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, Feb. 21-23.

THE COACHES: Dan Potter is in his sixth season as the head coach of the Broncos…Boise State has won a pair of tournaments and earned a dozen top-three finishes under Potter…assistant coach Kavan Eubank is in his first season with the Broncos.
