Our #FreshmanFriday wraps up as we feature the final member of our seven-woman incoming freshman class, guard Raigan Reed (Lake Stevens, Wash. / Lake Stevens HS).

Boise State graduated six seniors earlier this month, who made up one of the most decorated classes in program history. Along with the seven returning Broncos for 2020-21, Boise State will welcome a decorated seven-woman freshman class to the City of Trees in 2020-21. The motivated, hungry group boasts numerous all-state and all-section honors, league MVP awards, and team titles at the state, section, and league levels.

Reed comes from a Lake Stevens program under head coach Randy Edens which previously produced former Broncos Brooke and Brittany Pahukoa. A 5-foot-7 guard, Reed capped her prep career by averaging 19.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game to be named The Herald (Everett, Wash.) Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

A four-year starter for the Vikings, Reed averaged 12.6 points and 3.4 assists her junior season, after averaging 15.4 points a game as a sophomore. In her final season at Lake Stevens, Reed led the Vikings to a 19-6 record and to the 4A state regional.

"Raigan is a natural athlete and it looks like the game is very slow to her. She just buzzes by people," Boise State head coach Gordy Presnell said during last November's signing period. "She's athletic, can shoot the 3, she can drive, she makes the extra pass. A really, really good player."
