2019-20 | FRESHMAN SEASON

OVERALL: Was 7-7 overall in singles play in her first season of play for the Broncos…went 11-7 in doubles matches on the year.
FALL SINGLES: Went 2-5 overall in fall singles matches...won her first collegiate match against Idaho State's Adriene Pavek 1-6, 7-5, 6-4 (Sept. 13)...was 2-1 in the Barb Chandler Classic (Sept. 13-15).
FALL DOUBLES: Was 3-5 in fall doubles matches...defeated Utah State's Lucy Octave and Carolina Milan 6-3 with partner Vanessa Timm for her first collegiate doubles win (Sept. 20).
SPRING SINGLES: Went 5-2 in spring singles matches…played the majority of her matches as the sixth seed for the Broncos, going 3-2…won her lone appearances as the No. 4 and No 5 positions against Lewis-Clark State (Feb. 22) and College of Idaho (Feb. 22) respectively…won three of her last four matches of the season.
SPRING DOUBLES: Went 8-2 in spring doubles matches, good for the third-best record on the team…played all 10 of her appearances at doubles court three for the Broncos...primarily played with Joana Baptista, going 5-1 in seven matches, which was the team-leading doubles winning percentage of .833 (minimum 5 matches played).…won six of her last eight matches to end the season.
 

Remainder of season canceled March 12 due to coronavirus pandemic.

2018-19 | REDSHIRT SEASON

Did not compete in any competitions during season.

PRIOR TO BOISE STATE

CAREER: Played her high school tennis at Prince of Peace Christian School in Plano, Texas…four-star recruit coming out of high school…defeated Priya Niezgoda, who was ranked fourth in the state of Texas and currently competes for Rice University…won the Oklahoma National L2 doubles in …won two tournaments in Germany playing the 16s and 18s division in both tournaments…maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career.
PERSONAL:  Born and raised in Boise before moving to Plano, Texas…daughter of former Boise State head tennis coach Jim Moortgat.

ACADEMICS

Majoring in psychology.
