Broncos Look to Remain Unbeaten at Home

BOISE, Idaho - Boise State hosts Wyoming in the second game of a two-game Mountain West women's basketball series, Wednesday. Game time is slated for 2 p.m. at ExtraMile Arena.
The Broncos (7-1, 4-1 MW) defeated the Cowgirls (4-4, 2-3) 68-61, Monday behind a career-high 25 points from Mallory McGwire. The redshirt senior knocked down a career-best five 3-pointers and added 15 rebounds for her third double-double of the season. The game was tied 46-46 before Boise State used a 14-2 run in the fourth quarter to take a 60-48 lead with 4:20 remaining in the game.
The victory kept the Broncos perfect at home (5-0) this season. Boise State also improved to 7-0 in 2020-21 when it scores 65 points or more. Dating back to last season, the Broncos have won 17 straight games when reaching the 65-point mark. Boise State is one of two teams in the Mountain West (Colorado State) to record four conference wins this season. New Mexico (2-0) is the lone undefeated team in Mountain West play.
The Broncos lead the conference in field goal percentage defense (35.5) and scoring defense (59.9 points per game).
