COMPETITION ORDER
Boise State will start the evening on vault, then progress to bars, beam and floor. BYU will start on bars, then compete on vault, floor and beam.

IN THE RANKINGS
Following its first meet of the 2021 season, a 194.300-191.950 upset of No. 13 Oregon State (Jan. 15), the Broncos checked in at No. 25 in Road to Nationals. Boise State was led by its bars line-up, which ranks sixth nationally (49.250). The Broncos' beam line-up ranks 12th nationally (48.775), followed by vault (31st; 48.600) and floor (34th; 47.675).

Individually, senior Emily Muhlenhaupt (9.950) and freshman Emily Lopez (9.925) rank first and tied for second on bars nationally. Muhlenhaupt also leads the Broncos on beam, ranking tied for 29th nationally (9.850), while Samantha Smith leads Boise State on vault (T68th; 9.800) and Maddi Nilson leads the Broncos on floor (T115; 9.775).

MUHLENHAUPT PICKS UP WEEKLY HONOR
Senior Emily Muhlenhaupt was named Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Bars Specialist of the Week following her 9.950 against Oregon State, Jan. 15. It was her 10th-career such honor.

ROAD TO 10.0
Senior Emily Muhlenhaupt became the third gymnast in Boise State history to record a 9.975 bon bars, Feb. 1, 2019, and did it again twice during the 2020 season. She scored a 9.950 her first time out this season. If she is able to notch a 10.0, it will be the first such score on bars in school history, and just the fifth on any apparatus all-time. Most recently, Ciera Perkins registered a 10.0 on vault, Jan. 30, 2015. It was the third perfect vault in school history, a mark also achieved by Julie Wagner (March 20, 1993) and Leslie Mott (March 23, 1996). On beam, Marie Lucas registered a 10.0, Feb. 27, 2002.

FIVE-STRAIGHT TITLES
The Broncos captured their fifth-consecutive Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference title in 2019, but were unable to defend the championship following the cancellation of the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic prior to the conclusion of the regular season. The five-straight titles were the longest by a Boise State program since the football team also won five-straight in the Western Athletic Conference from 2002-06. The only program with a longer streak in Boise State history was the wrestling team, which won seven-straight Big Sky Conference Championships from 1974-80.

12-STRAIGHT REGIONALS
Boise State also made 12-consecutive NCAA Regional Championship appearances before this past season, which was canceled due to COVID-19 prior to the conclusion of the regular season.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Boise State will hit the road again next week, traveling to Cedar City, Utah, for another MRGC showdown, this one against Southern Utah. The Thunderbirds are currently ranked No. 19 in Road to Nationals, and will host the Broncos Jan. 29 (Friday), at 7 p.m.
