ABOUT AIR FORCE: The Falcons are 3-5 on the season, including a 1-3 start to Mountain West play. Air Force is coming off a sweep at the hands of Utah State in its most recent series. The Falcons opened conference play with a split at Nevada. Chris Joyce (13.0) and AJ Walker (12.5) are the team's top two scorers. Head coach Joe Scott returned to Air Force prior to this season. Scott previously led the Falcons from 2000-04, including the program's only Mountain West championship in 2003-04. Following the championship season, he went on to serve as head coach at his alma mater, Princeton.

SERIES HISTORY: Boise State leads the all-time series against Air Force, 13-6. The teams split last year's series. The Broncos have won the last seven meetings in Boise, including a 74-57 victory last season. Boise State has won the last six home games in the series by double figures, including each of the last three wins by at least 17 points.

EIGHT STRAIGHT: Boise State has won its last eight games. The Broncos are riding their first eight-game winning streak since the 2015-16 season. That team went on to tie the school record with a 10-game winning streak, previously accomplished in 1987-88.

ALSTON'S HOT STREAK: Redshirt senior guard Derrick Alston, Jr. has scored at least 20 points in each of the last five games. Alston is the first Bronco to string together five consecutive 20-point outings since Reggie Larry did so in 08 (March 1-15). The last Bronco to score at least 20 points in six straight games was Roberto Bergersen, during the 1998-99 season. Alston has scored 108 points in the last five games, moving from 24th to 15th on Boise State's all-time scoring list in the process.

RANKINGS ROUNDUP: The NCAA NET Rankings debuted this week, with Boise State checking in at No. 13 in the initial release. The Broncos are receiving votes in both major polls and have climbed to No. 72 in the KenPom ratings, up from 106 to start the season.

STARTING STRONG: Boise State is 4-0 to start conference play for the third time since joining the Mountain West and the sixth time in program history. The Broncos have won their first four league games four times under Leon Rice. The best conference start in program history is 7-0 (1987-88).
