BOISE, Idaho – For the first time in 644 days, the Boise State track team will compete at an indoor meet, as the men's distance crew kicks off the 2021 portion of the campaign at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston, Mass.
LOGISTICS: The meet is hosted by Boston and will be held at the Boston University Track & Tennis Center, beginning at 9 a.m. MT, Dec. 4. The men's 3,000-meters is slated for 1:28 p.m. MT and the men's 5,000m is the meet's final event and will start at 4 p.m. MT.
COMPETING BRONCOS:
Men's 3,000m – Hunter Lucas, Henry Mong, Aidan Roberts
Men's 5,000m – Austen Apperson, Dario De Caro, Brogan Giffin, Ahmed Ibrahim, Jack Leitch, Matty Mackay, Murdoch McIntyre, Aidan Palmer, Ben Sherman, Jonathan Shields, Chandler Underwood
LAST TIME OUT: The Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener marks Boise State's first indoor meet since the 2020 Mountain West Championships. There, the men's distance medley relay team of Jonathan Shields, Chip Mitchell, Jacob Grinwis and Henry Mong topped the podium, and Yukino Parle notched her first MW title in the women's 5,000m.
