BOISE, Idaho - A balanced offensive attack led Boise State to a bounce-back win Thursday, against UNLV at ExtraMile Arena. Emmanuel Akot led the Broncos with 16 points off the bench. Nine different Broncos took the floor, each scoring at least three points.
Boise State (15-4, 11-3 MW) shot 50 percent from the floor, 40 percent from beyond the arc and 81.8 percent from the free throw line to snap a two-game skid and give head coach Leon Rice his 213th victory with the Broncos, tying Bobby Dye's all-time school record.
After UNLV (8-10, 5-6 MW) got out to a hot start, Akot keyed a 20-4 run midway through the first half. The Broncos took a 42-30 lead into halftime and never looked back.
Akot had 11 points before the break. He finished with 16 on 7-of-10 shooting, while tallying five rebounds, three assists and two steals.

The Broncos led by double figures the entire second half, pushing their advantage to as many as 18.
