Bronco Women Set for National Championships

BOISE, Idaho – For the sixth time in the past seven seasons, the Boise State cross country women's team prepares for the NCAA Division One Cross Country Championships.

The Bronco women enter the championships ranked 10th in the nation following a second-place effort at the Mountain West Championships.

LOGISTICS: The NCAA Championships will be held at the recently renovated Oklahoma State Cross Country Course, in Stillwater, Okla., on Monday, March 15.

LAST TIME OUT: The Boise State women finished second at the MW Championships in Las Vegas, Nev. They trailed only No. 4 New Mexico on the day. 

Graduate transfer Tyler Beling led the way for the Broncos closing third. It was her third top-five finish in as many races this season. Senior Olivia Johnson joined Beling with a fifth-place finish and both earned All-Mountain West first-team honors.

Junior Christina Geisler and freshman Ines Borba both earned second-team All-MW accolades thanks to 12th and 14th-place finishes, respectively.
