BOISE, Idaho - Fresno State finished the game on a 13-1 run and handed Boise State its first home loss of the season Tuesday, 67-64. Emmanuel Akot led the Broncos with 18 points.

After Boise State (18-7, 14-6 MW) overcame a 10-point second-half deficit, Derrick Alston, Jr. went on a personal 8-0 run to extend the Bronco lead to nine with 5:01 on the clock. The Bulldogs (11-10, 9-10 MW) answered with a 10-0 run to take back the lead. Akot split a trip to the free throw line to tie the game at 64 with 1:35 left.

On the next possession, Isaiah Hill knocked down a three-pointer to give Fresno State a three-point lead with 1:10 to go. It was the Bulldogs' 10th three-pointer of the game.

Boise State missed two tying attempts in the closing minute and suffered its third straight loss to end the conference schedule. 

The Broncos conclude the Mountain West season with a conference record of 14-6. They are slated to open the Mountain West Tournament March 11, in the quarterfinal round. Seeding and opponents will be determined at the end of the week.
