THE OPPONENTS

Air Force boasts an impressive 8-2 record heading into Saturday's contest and are in the midst of a three-match win streak. The Broncos are 6-1 in their last seven matches against the Falcons, but Air Force won the last meeting between the two teams in 2019. Air Force and Boise State are among the top teams in the league during nonconference play and are two of five teams who have active three-match or better win streaks.

New Mexico is 5-2 at the time of this writing, with matches to be played on Thursday (UTEP) and Saturday (Utah State) before facing the Broncos on Sunday.

LAST TIME OUT

Originally scheduled to host Gonzaga, Boise State instead welcomed Montana State to Appleton Tennis Center for a match that saw the Broncos win 6-1. After a slow start, the Broncos were able to recover from dropping the doubles point by winning all six singles matches to close out the match in dominant fashion.

STATS TO WATCH FOR

Last week's 6-0 performance in singles means the Broncos are now a combined 36-12 (.857) in singles matches on all courts. The team's most consistent performances have come on courts two and six, as the Blue and Orange are 14-2 in matches at those positions.

Though Boise State dropped the doubles point their last time out, it was only their second time doing so this season. Pauline Ernstberger and Holly Stewart took home another win at the No. 2 position to continue the tandem's undefeated run. The two are 8-0 on the season and have been huge contributors in the Broncos' efforts to open matches.

Redshirt-junior Vanessa Timm continues to push toward 50 career singles wins, and her win on Saturday pushed her one step closer as her total now sits at 48.

AT THE HELM

Beck Roghaar is in his eleventh year in charge of the Broncos and has led his teams to winning records in seven of those seasons. The two-time conference coach of the year honoree holds a 121-97 record. He has also had nine of his teams earn ITA All-Academic Team recognition.
