Broncos Finish Second and Third at Conference

LAS VEGAS - Boise State cross country earned a pair of top-three finishes at the Mountain West Championships on Friday.
For the third time this season, graduate student Tyler Beling secured a top 5 finish and earned her second third-place finish of the year. She has paced the Broncos in all-three races this season. The women finished second as a team behind preseason favorite, New Mexico.
Beling and senior Olivia Johnson each garnered a first-team All-Mountain West accolade, while freshman Ines Borba (12) and Christina Geisler (14) earned second-team honors. Rounding out the Boise State scoring five was junior Yukino Parle who closed 18th.
The men were paced for a third-straight time by graduate student Dario De Caro who finished 12th. He was the lone Bronco on the men's side to receive second-team honors.
Joining De Caro in the Boise State scoring five were Logan Rees (15) Jack Leitch (18), Jonathan Shields (20) and Nathan Dunn (22).
The Broncos now wait for Selection Sunday to determine their NCAA Championships bids. The selection show will air on the NCAA website Sunday, March 7 at 11 a.m. MT.
