Menegatti Wins 400m on Final Day of Oregon Relays

EUGENE, Ore. – Boise State track and field added a win to the medal count on Saturday at the Oregon Relays. The Broncos finished the weekend with three wins, two seconds, and four third-place efforts.

MaLeigha Menegatti secured the Broncos third-individual victory of the weekend running a personal best of 56.51 in the women's 400-meter. Harlee Hales grabbed the third-place spot with a time of 57.80 establishing her personal best in the event.

In the men's 800m, Caleb Stamper used a strong kick on the back straight to vault himself to third place with a personal best of 1:52.34. Austen Apperson also notched a new personal best in the event with a time of 1:53.66, while freshman Jadon Mansur set his new mark at 1:54.87.

The Broncos are back in action next week as they head to Fresno, Calif., for the West Coast Relays hosted by Fresno State, April 29-30.
