Broncos set for NCAA West Regionals

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State track and field heads to College Station, Texas for the NCAA Preliminary West Round.

LAST TIME OUT:Â The Broncos earned 12 medals at the Mountain West Championships in Clovis, Calif., May 13-15.
Olivia Johnson earn a spot in the conference record book, logging the fastest time in Mountain West Championships history in the women's 1,500-meter with a time of 4:19.86.

Ryan Cavinta grabbed the top spot in the men's 400m hurdles to earn his first career MW Championship.
Â
Running in the women's 800m Kristie Schoffield logged her fastest time of the year at 2:06.11 to finish third and secure the bronze medal.

Clare O'Brien recorded her sixth career All-Mountain West finish with a bronze-medal effort in the women's 10,000m.
LOGISTICS:Â The NCAA Preliminary West Round will be held at E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, Texas. Events will be held over four days, May 26-29.

On Wednesday, events will begin with the men's qualifying rounds. The Broncos will have three competitors racing, beginning at 5:30 p.m. MT.

Thursday will begin the women's events, six Boise State women will take to the track looking to qualify for the weekend finals beginning with the 1,500m at 5:30 p.m. MT.

Friday and Saturday will host the qualifiers from the first two days, with the men running on Friday and the women on Saturday.
