WHAT'S NEXT: Boise State (5-2-0) is back home for its final nonconference match of the season, hosting CSU Bakersfield (0-6-1) Friday, Sept. 17 at 5 p.m. MT at Boas Soccer Soccer Complex.

LAST TIME OUT: The Broncos had their undefeated streak broken this past weekend, taking losses to Utah Valley (Sept. 10) and Montana (Sept. 12). Utah Valley brought an end to Boise State's record-setting shutout streak in the ninth minute then went on to put two more past the defense, winning 3-0. The Bronco offense continued to struggle against Montana, failing to register a goal in the 1-0 loss. The two defeats bumped Boise State to 5-2 on the year.

WRAPPING UP NONCONFERENCE: The match against the Roadrunners will be the final nonconference contest for the Broncos. Even with back-to-back defeats last weekend, Boise State has found historic success outside of the Mountain West, earning the best start to a season in program history. Some of the more notable wins include a 1-0 victory over Pac-12 Utah (Aug. 22) and a 1-0 win over Pacific in double overtime (Aug. 29), the program's first ever win over the Tigers.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Boise State's offense failed to generate any goals in its matches last weekend despite the return of active career goal-scoring leader Aubree Chatterton. In five of their seven matches this season, the Broncos have scored one or less goals. However, in their other two matches they have scored four goals each. As the attack looks to settle in, fans should watch for which version of the Bronco offense appears in Friday's contest.

In addition, for the first time Boise State will be selling match tickets online in advance for all soccer home contests in 2021.
