BRING THE CHAOS
Prior to the 2020 season, which, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, forced capacity at Albertsons Stadium to 1,100 or less, Bronco Nation contributed to an environment that produced 44 false starts by opposing teams from 2018-19. That mark was the highest total of any stadium in the country, as were Bronco opponents' 3.14 false starts per game. Boise State will have a capacity crowd for the home opener – the first time with a full Albertsons Stadium since the 2019 Mountain West Championship Game against Hawai'i, Dec. 7, 2019.

VS CONFERENCE USA
Boise State is 9-2 all-time against Conference USA, including a streak of six-straight wins. The Broncos' last loss to a CUSA school came against East Carolina, now a member of the American Athletic Conference, in the 2007 Hawaii Bowl (41-38). The Broncos' only other loss to the league also came against a school no longer in the conference – against Louisville in the 2004 Liberty Bowl (44- 40; Dec. 31, 2004), a game in which current head coach Andy Avalos, in his final game as a Bronco, returned an interception 92 yards for a touchdown. Boise State is 25-8 all-time against schools that currently comprise CUSA.

HOME OPENERS
The Broncos have won 19-consecutive home openers, the last loss coming to Washington State (41-20), Sept. 8, 2001.
