Meridian-Native Joins Bronco Men's Golf

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State men's golf head coach Dan Potter announced Meridian-native Drew Reinke has joined the program as a walk on.
"Drew is a great guy who has always been well respected among his peers and the Boise golf community," said Potter. "He has an infectious personality and an easy way with people. I've been able to watch Drew play since he was a junior golfer and he's continued to develop his game to become the type of player who can help us. I'm excited to have him in our program and have high hopes for his future as a Bronco."
The newest Bronco comes to Boise State after having spent time at Chico State. A redshirt in 2018-19, Reinke made six tournament appearances for the Wildcats in 2019-20. He had an impressive showing at this summer's 2021 Idaho State Amateur Championship where he fired 6-under par to finish tied for sixth. He also finished 13th in the tournament in 2020.
Reinke is a graduate of Rocky Mountain High School in Meridian where he helped lead the Grizzlies to four-straight team district and state championships.
