THE MEET
24th-ranked Boise State faces a quick turnaround after defeating Utah State at home Friday night. The Broncos are on the road for a quad meet against No. 18 Stanford, No. 19 BYU and Sacramento State in Stanford, Calif.
 
LAST TIME OUT
Last time out Boise State upset No. 21 Utah State by posting a season-high 196.950 to celebrate Senior Night.
 
The Broncos posted season-best scores in each of the four events. Boise State has improved its vault score in each meet this season.
 
For the second-straight week Alexis Stokes tied the school bars record of 9.975 to take her second title in the event in as many meets. Three other Broncos scored 9.875s to lift Boise State to a 49.950 in the rotation.
 
On vault Alyssa Vulaj won her second-straight event title, scoring a 9.900 to lead a Bronco lineup that scored 49.100 in the event.
 
On beam Adriana Popp tied her career high 9.900 and won her fifth-career title in the event. Emily Lopez scored a career-best 9.875 and Boise State counted five scores of 9.800 or better to post a 49.200 in the rotation.
 
In the final event of the evening Courtney Blackson set a career mark of 9.925, and the dynamic freshmen duo of Elaina McGovern and Blake Pascal each set career-highs of 9.900 to lead Boise State to a 49.200 to end the night.
 
ABOUT THE OPPONENTS
Stanford enters the meet ranked 18th in the week six Road to Nationals standings, averaging a total score of 196.230 so far this season.
 
Kyla Bryant is the standout performer for the Cardinal, ranking ninth nationally on floor and in the top-20 for all-around in which she averages 39.465.
 
Boise State has already faced BYU twice this season, losing both contests. The No. 19 ranked Cougars are currently the highest-ranked team from the MRGC.
 
BYU holds solid averages in bars (49.150) and beam (49.092) to lead the way. Sadie Miner-Van Tassell is the top all-arounder in the league, having won five-straight MRGC Gymnast of the Week awards.
 
Sacramento State enters the meet with a 2-7 record and a 2-5 mark in MPSF. The Hornets hold an average score of 192.765 per meet.
 
WHAT'S NEXT
Up next the Broncos take a trip to Cedar City, Utah, for a matchup against MRGC foe Southern Utah. The meet is set to begin at 7 p.m. MT.
