Broncos Extend Winning Streak to Seven

DAVIS, Calif. – Kelsey Hall belted a leadoff home run for the third time this season and Boise State cruised to an 8-0 victory in five innings over UC Davis, Wednesday.
The Broncos (24-5) posted their sixth mercy-rule victory in 2022 and have a seven-game winning streak for the second time this season.
After Hall homered as part of her three-hit day, Kelsey Lalor doubled, moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on a ground ball.
Boise State broke the game open with a four-run third as Jordyn Hutchins collected a run-scoring single and Mykenzie Hanna delivered a pinch hit, three-run home run.
Alison Seng added an RBI-double in the fourth and Eliyah Flores capped the scoring by plating a run with a double in the fifth.
Taylor Caudill (9-3) went the first four innings for the victory. She limited the Aggies (12-14) to three hits and struck out seven.
The Broncos continue their road trip with a three-game Mountain West series at Nevada beginning Friday at 3 p.m. PT/4 p.m. MT.
