Broncos Set to Face Nevada and UNLV

One at Home and One on the Road: The Broncos will host Nevada on Thursday at 7 p.m., before traveling to Las Vegas to face UNLV on Sunday at 1 p.m. MT.

Last Time Out: Boise State soccer clinched a spot in the 2023 Mountain West tournament after defeating Fresno State 2-1 at Boas Soccer Complex on Sunday afternoon. The Broncos (8-2-6, 6-1-1 MW) found the first goal of the match when Carly Cross took a shot from the left wing that landed in the opposite side of the net in the 17th minute. Kenzie MacMillan extended Boise State's lead to 2-0 after ripping a shot off a pass from Morgan Padour into the back of the net in the 28th minute.

Scouting the Wolf Pack: Nevada enters the match 6-6-5 overall with a 4-3-1 conference record after taking down San Diego State 3-2 on Oct. 15. The Broncos hold a 20-2-3 overall series advantage over the Wolf Pack, with a 12-1-1 record when at home.

Scouting the Rebels: UNLV enters the week 6-4-6 overall with a 2-3-3 conference record after drawing 3-3 with New Mexico on Oct. 15. The Broncos hold a slim 7-5-4 overall advantage in the series over the Rebels, but UNLV holds a 4-3-2 advantage when at home.

Best in the MW: With their 2-1 win against Fresno State, the Broncos are now tied for first in conference play with San Diego State. This is the best start for Boise State since 2019 when the Blue and Orange shared the regular season title and won the conference tournament. Kenzie MacMillan leads the conference in total assists (6), assists per game (0.38), shots (67) and shots per game (4.19) and is second in points (22) and points per game (1.38). Carly Cross is second in the conference in total goals (9) and goals per game (0.56), while Morgan Padour is tied for second in total assists (5) and assists per game (0.31).

Keep It Clean: Goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw (18) has tied the program record for career shutouts. Her next clean sheet will break the tie.

One Away: With the Broncos' win against Fresno State, head coach Jim Thomas (111) has tied the record for most wins by a soccer head coach at Boise State, with the next win giving home sole possession of first.
