BOISE, Idaho – With Boise State soccer's 2-1 victory over Nevada, head coach Jim Thomas recorded his 112th win, breaking the record for most wins by a head coach in program history.

The Broncos (9-2-6, 7-1-1 Mountain West) squared the match at one in the 79th minute when Kenzie MacMillan knocked in her ninth goal of the season. The Blue and Orange took a 2-1 lead 30 seconds later, when Evva Vail ripped a shot, off an assist from Cindy Conner, that slid right off the gloves of the Wolf Pack's (6-7-5, 4-4-1 MW) goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

Nevada's lone goal was scored in the 17th minute of the match, despite the Broncos outshooting Nevada 10-6 in the first half.

"Glad that it's over and we don't need to talk about records anymore," said Thomas. "Records can hang heavy on you until it's broken but there's so many people and players I get to share this with and so much support that goes with it."
"Whoever can operate the best in chaos this time of the year probably has the best chance at winning the whole thing," said Thomas. "I thought we were absolutely fantastic in changing things at half-time, staying with a new game plan and staying together when it's very easy to fall apart."
