BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's soccer has added seven players as part of the 2024 recruiting class, head coach Jim Thomas announced on Wednesday.

Jillian Anderson – Midfielder

Anderson hails from Allen, Texas, and had a standout career at Allen High School. During her junior year, she was named the North Texas ODP MVP and Allen HS Offensive MVP after leading her team with 15 goals and 11 assists. She was named the 2023 AHS Midfield MVP with eight goals and 14 assists, helping the team win a 5/6A District Championship. Anderson is a two-time all-district first team honoree in 2022 and 2023, and played club soccer for the Dallas Texans ECNL, winning the International Girls Cup Championship in 2021.

What Coach Thomas says: "Jillian Anderson is a tremendous, all-purpose midfielder. She has the key ability to score from all kinds of different situations and ranges. We are super excited to add someone with the kind of versatility to play at all manners of different levels and widths to our 2024 recruiting class."

Oakley Anderson – Forward

Anderson joins the Broncos from North Salt Lake, Utah, where she played prep soccer at Woods Cross High School. The forward was a four-year varsity starter and team captain, leading her team in points and goals, and finishing second in state in goals scored her senior year. Anderson played club soccer for the La Roca ECNL, where she scored two goals in the final to win the USYS National Championship.

What Coach Thomas says: "Oakley is an all-purpose wide player. High or low, it doesn't matter where you play her because she has the ability to beat players, create offense and deliver the ball superbly. Her athleticism really exaggerates all of the speed and quality we had in 2023 to be a part of the fastest Bronco squad you've ever seen."

Tambree Bell – Forward / Defender

An Idaho product out of Pocatello, Bell comes to Boise State after a successful career at Highland High School. In 2022, Bell was named the conference player of the year and earned all-state first team honors. The forward was the 2023 Idaho All-State assist leader with 20 assists and had the most goals in 5A with 25. Bell also played club soccer for the CGA Academy under Rocky Rhoads.

What Coach Thomas says: "Tambree is an electric wide player with the ability to carry the ball past players and really influence the game on the attacking side of it. Whether she's at wide back or wide forward, she's going to bring an excitement to Bronco Nation that they will relish coming to see every Thursday and Sunday."

Emily Brashear – Defender

Brashear comes to Boise from Cave Creek, Ariz., where she enjoyed a successful prep career at Cactus Shadows High School. The defender was named to the all-region second team in 2020 and the all-region first team in 2022. Brashear competed in club soccer for Phoenix Rising ECNL.

What Coach Thomas says: "Emily is another in the long stream of elite center backs that will continue to anchor our backline and have us at the top of the Mountain West when it comes to defensive efficiency. She's a brilliant player, bringing the ball out of the midfield and we're really adding a wrinkle to our backline and our overall attack of being able to carry the ball into the midfield and play from there."

Kaylee McKeehan – Defender

A native of Coto de Caza, Calif., McKeehan joins the Bronco after a standout career at Santa Margarita High School. The defender earned Trinity League All-Team honors in 2022 and 2023, and was given the Coaches' Eagle Award in 2021 and 2022. McKeehan helped her team win the Trinity League, CIF and State championships in 2023. She played club soccer for Slammers ECNL.

What Coach Thomas says: "Kaylee is the player we need. The six that can dominate the ball in the air, has great range in finishing and tremendous athleticism to cover huge spaces just like Teryn Newkirk. She is the kind of player that you need to win a Mountain West championship and we couldn't be more excited to have her."

Sophie Schmautz – Forward

Schmautz is a Boise native who attended Bishop Kelly High School. She was named the 4A Southern Idaho Conference Player of the Year in her junior and senior years, and the 2022 State 4A Player of the Year. Schmautz finished her high school career with 96 goals, including 39 in her senior year. The four-time 4A SIC All-Conference First-Team and three-time Idaho All-State First-Team forward played club soccer for Idaho Rush Premier, helping the team win the 2023 Far West Regional and Idaho State Cup championships.

What Coach Thomas says: "Sophie is the newest in a long line of elite attackers to come out of the Treasure Valley and to become a Boise State Bronco. She is a wonderful dribbler, who is continually adding to the way that she scores goals off of counterattacks. She is an all-purpose threat towards the goal that will be a wonderful compliment to the likes of Asia (Lawyer), Hayden (Wilsey), Carly (Cross) and Kenzie (MacMillan), amongst others, making us an even more potent attacking squad going into 2024."

Kennedy Sullivan – Forward

Sullivan joins the Broncos from Roca, Neb., where she enjoyed a successful career at Norris High School. In her senior year, Sullivan was named MVP and earned Super State First-Team honors. She earned All-Nebraska and all-state class B accolades and is a two-time conference offensive player of the year and three-time all-conference honoree. Sullivan played her club soccer for Gretna Elite Academy 05/06 ECNL.

What Coach Thomas says: "Kennedy will join Emily Brashear as a new addition to the backline. Again, a wonderful student-athlete who can cover huge spaces, enabling us to be really open as an attacking group and as we allow the widebacks to join and midfielders to get up by the forwards. Kennedy has the technique, tactic and athleticism to cover all of those spaces and has a tremendous technical ability that we cannot wait to add to our lineup so we can continue to add wrinkles to the way that we attack."
