SAN DIEGO – Boise State won a pair of games at the Torero Classic, hosted by San Diego, Friday.

The Broncos (4-4) recorded an 8-0 victory against Wichita State (5-3) and won their third-straight run-rule win 11-3 against San Diego (1-8).

The Broncos recorded their second-straight mercy rule win in the first game of the day, routing the Shockers in six innings.

Alycia Flores got the Broncos on the board in the bottom of the first, knocking a run-scoring double. The Broncos proceeded to score seven in the final three innings, with Flores crushing a three-run home run to record the run-rule victory.Â

Taylor Caudill (1-1) registered the three-hit shutout for the Broncos with seven strikeouts.
