Taviore Highlights Weekend in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – Sophomore Anita Taviore notched a second-place finish in the women's 200-meter race at the WSU Open & Combined Events this weekend, Feb. 2-4.

Taviore recorded the third-fastest performance in Bronco history, clocking a time of 24.09 in the 200m. She also posted the third-fastest mark all-time in the preliminary of the women's 60m dash (7.51).

Sophomore Alyssa Cullen set two personal bests in the 60m (7.64) and 200m (24.88), placing sixth and 17th, respectively.

Freshman Abby Stamper and sophomore Rebecca Vander Poel also contributed to the Broncos' slew of personal records during their races in the women's 400m.

In her pentathlon debut, sophomore Emily Stefan etched her name in the record book, recording the fifth-best performance in program history.

On the men's side, sophomore Trent Missamore set a personal record in the men's 400m with a time of 50.16.
