Four Broncos Garner Top-Five Finishes in the Bay Area

BOISE, Idaho - The Broncos registered four top-five finishes, as Boise State split its squad, competing at the Stanford Invitational in Stanford, Calif., and the Mike Fanelli Track Classic in San Francisco, March 31-April 1.
On the first day at Stanford, senior Jonathan Shields secured a top-five finish in the men's 1500-meter race. His time of 3:41.89 is the third-fastest in program history.
The following day, senior MaLeigha Menegatti garnered a silver-medal finish in the women's 800-meter race with a personal best and third-fastest time in Bronco history of 2:04.62.
On the men's side, Josh Nichols placed fourth in the men's triple jump with a distance of 13.86m.
Over in San Francisco, Nyenuchi Okemgbo finished second with a time of 1:02.65 in the women's 400-meter hurdles.
