Broncos Secure Conference Series Win Against the Aggies

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State softball secured a Mountain West series win after Saturday afternoon's 9-1 five-inning run-rule victory against Utah State.
Lindsey Walljasper (11-3) won the game in the circle for the Broncos (26-12, 12-2 MW) and was one-out shy of pitching a no-hitter.
The Aggies (15-21, 6-9) scored the first run of the game in the second inning.
Boise State responded with a two-run home run from Mykenzie Hanna in the bottom of the third, followed by an RBI-single from Jordyn Hutchins, a two-RBI triple from Alycia Flores and a sacrifice fly from Eliyah Flores to give the Blue and Orange a 6-1 lead.
In the bottom of the fourth, Alycia Flores smashed an RBI-double and Sydney Groves knocked a two-RBI single to seal the victory.
