Broncos Lose to Aztecs

BOISE, Idaho – San Diego State hit three home runs and defeated Boise State 10-1 in Mountain West softball at Dona Larsen Park, Saturday.
The Aztecs (32-12, 16-5 MW) scored multiple runs in three separate innings and held the Broncos (28-14, 13-4) to four hits in the six-inning, run-rule victory.
Boise State's lone run came in the fifth. Jordyn Hutchins led off with a double and scored when a two-out bunt single by Abby Bumcrot was coupled with a throwing error by San Diego State.
Lindsey Walljasper (12-4) started in the circle and took the loss for the Broncos.

Boise State will host San Diego State, Sunday. Game time is noon and the winner will have sole possession of first place in the Mountain West.
